welcome to the never ending rain...
Raining? Yes, always actually. Apparently October is Winter, one month of complete rain. This week has been too productive yet, because why? Oh the rain. Ha ha, I am so frustrated. Anyway, we have started work at the high school with building a classroom, it has been more shoveling tons of dirt and rocks, and using it to level out the ground. It is really annoying because the students just stare at us, Of course I want to be their friends and everything however its difficult to work when like 10 people are just standing there watching, its like grab a shovel and help! Anyway, we were doing that until what? Oh the rain started. Yesterday I started my mural at the elementary school, that was interesting we had some sun for like 30 minutes, I made the most out of it got a sunburn and painted. Then the rain started.. get my point yet?
Brigitte the older girl in our group decided to leave the program for personal reasons. It definetely has affected the group dynamic. However now there is some extra space in our room so Melanie and I keep joking that we have so much more room for activities. Oh Step Brothers, so funny. We are going to watch that movie tonight.
Things have been really interesting, it is difficult to have motivation some days. You can tell its the nearing days to the end of project. I am excited for my workshops next week. I am not sure if I mentioned the dog diego decided to bring home, as something nice for his family. Well his family didnt want a dog, let me tell you. Her name is LoLa, and she cries all day.. and the dog is an outside dog now, since she has parasites. Its really awful, our group has been taking care of her. Its not so common here to bring your pet to the vet, however he did give her some pills. I hope she is okay. I am just so tired of the dog crying and barking all the time, actually..
Guess what happens this weekend? The beach so excited!! and this is our last week in San Marcos because we are working at the Oranic Farm next week.
