I am calling your name.

Sometimes we get lost for a little while, and it feels okay to be standing still when everything else is spinning by. It's okay to be sad, to cry, to be alone. It's what sets us back in life, if that didn't happen we wouldn't have the greatest joy in getting stronger and taking that extra step in life. We fall down, we get up, it's how this life thing works.

I am somewhere in the middle of all of that, somedays I am one step ahead, others I am taking a couple steps back. If you feel the same know it's okay to be lost, you figure it out eventually. The last couple weeks have been a whirlwind for me. Katimavik was such an intense experience, it still effects you after the program. You can't just walk away from it without attachments. However I have found a new project to focus my energy for the next few months. I found a program called YCI Youth Challenge International. I am going to Costa Rica for 8 eight weeks in the fall. I will work part as a team to improve the social and economic welfare of countries, and I will work on projects such as- improve and help build basic infrastructure, health posts, or schools in local communities. Help construct small-scale projects such as trails, lookouts, ranger huts or visitor centres, in parks and conservation areas in order to attract and educate visitors. Organizing or facilitating youth or women's action conferences addressing key issues identified by local communities with topics ranging from teen pregnancy to leadership. Help strengthen rural women's cooperatives by improving community facilities that in turn allow women to generate new revenue. 

That all inspires me so much, and I am so ready for the challenge. It would be so crazy to live in a different country with a local family. I am so intrigued to go in to the unknown, thats all I have ever known to do. 

I am currently planning fundraisers and such, and it is looking really good! I have to raise 3,600 so I am really counting on all the love and support from my community. If you would like to share some love here is the link-
